Understanding People  Defining “Understanding People”  Understanding people means noticing their emotions, needs, and communication style. The connection moment is that warm instant when you suddenly “get” someone—what they think, feel, or need—and the relationship becomes clearer. Together, understanding each other builds trust, empathy, and stronger communication. Warm-Up
